We spent this nice summer day to search out caches in the Dryden area. Our first attempt proved fruitless and we posted a “couldn’t find”. After some abstinence from GeoCaching we went to look for some caches around Sioux Lookout. This day went for some caches that were walking distance (about 3km) from home. Another nice spring day. A good time to look for some new and not so new caches in Dryden. The first find for the day was placed just a few days ago. Here is the log entry for Jennifer’s first successful find. On our way home from Winnipeg we tried finding some caches in Manitoba. This first cache we searched out at a popular rest spot (the only one for a loooong way got to be popular ). placed by Adi, Jennifer and Dakota. We had to go and find another cache. What better opportunity then looking for a cache while on our way to Dryden. The log states: Sunset Country Cache (official page) Found it just as described. Took a couple of marbles and left a couple of quarters. Our first GeoCache… Sioux Lookout # 2 (official page) Our first cache expedition, and we found it! The cache was in great shape and well hidden. Took me 4 attempts heading off the trail. Left a couple of SIMM as keychains and didn’t take anything other than the bug. Made an entry into the logbook. |
